Stemin has a new employee since 5 march, the Kawasaki ZX200U.

We have installed a Kawasaki Robot to load our Okuma Multus B400W. Thursday 5th of March we celebrated this with a small snack and drinks. With this development Stemin enters a new period - twenty-four-seven production.

For those who like to know more about the details, we have installed a 200 kg robot with a gripper changer. We can change grippers automatically. For loading the multitask machine we have two loading systems. From a pallet and from a conveyor.

Both loading systems are equipped with dedicated vision systems. This makes us very flexible, it does not matter if the raw material is from bar or casting, we can load both without the necessity of having to position the raw material accurately. The CNC machine and the robot are managed by a job manager – this is software for changing programs and scheduling.
