Autoflex
The Autoflex coupling is a High Perfomance disk coupling, used for high speed applications. These couplings are made for "infinite life" or will be maintenance free for the time it is used. This means, that these couplings are normally free of wearing parts as long as the installation will stand.
In many cases, for these applications, there is al lot of calculations necesary to get the best solution. Ofcourse about the transmittable torque, but also torsional stiffness, moments of inertia and calculations about the center of gravity. Weil das Treibende Werkzeug oft eine Turbine ist, ist auch oft sprache von ausdehnung durch wärme und wachsen von Wellen. Shims, moments of intertia, potential unbalance, weight balanced, pilots, torsional stiffness, is het jargon wat hier veelvuldig gebruikt wordt.
